I really appreciate all of you praying for me about my surgery.  I have
been released by my Doctors .  They tell me all is well, but, I won't
know for sure until August.  I attended the Southern Baptist
Convention in Indianapolis last week and it wore me out.  I had to go
because I was honored and given an award.  It was a wonderful
experience and I wish I could have shared it with all my friends.

I will return to revivals and conferences on July 6.  I have four weeks
in a row and I want you to ask God to give me the strength that I will
need.  I don't want to retire and won't until I just can't do it anymore.
I will be 74 on August 30, so, time is short.  Lu is fine, but, is fighting
a constant battle with skin cancer.  It is not life threating as long as
she stays ahead of it with her Doctors.

The expenses of traveling and living on the road is getting to be
almost too much.   Most Churches will pay travel expense, but, those
that don't really put the"hurt" on us.  God is good, as He has always
been and will continue.  I hope to run in to you "down the road" and
have some good fellowship.
